Here I am, fashionably late as always with some fanfic recs for belated fanfic writer appreciation day. There’s so much good Yuri on Ice fanfiction, but I wanted to highlight those I think are deserving of way more recognition. So please enjoy these hot takes I wrote under my desk at work:

I wrote in my first ever comment on this fic that it makes angry–just rife with jealousy. And… yeah, still true. But I’m angry for another reason: Why the hell is this fic’s views only in the triple digits? Like… what? This fic… This fucking fic–
Ooookay, let me collect my thoughts. So this fic? Literally makes me angry because it’s so good. The plot? Inspired. The prose? Gorgeous. It feels like a fever dream you never want to wake up from.
Not to mention, I’ve never gasped aloud so many times reading anything. This fic will give you the chills, man. It haunts you long after you’ve closed the tab.
Godspeed to the author. I eagerly await the last chapter, even knowing it’ll probably shatter my heart and then mend it together with little butterfly kisses.
