Look, I get it, I do. I don’t like it because it was JJ vs the world in the series (which was partially his fault, I admit), but also because we know he suffers from anxiety that stems from the expectations put on him to succeed no matter what, and frankly I don’t think he deserves the villain role because he’s socially inept. Do I think he needs a reality check on how to appropriately interact with his rivals? Yes. But villain? No.
