Viktor and Yuuri meet at an underground bar where Viktor tries to recruit Yuuri to join the resistance. Although Yuuri refuses, it’s hard seeing his ex-husband again after so many years. They decide to spend the night together for old memory’s sake, only to then realize they’re still in love with each other. Viktor refuses to leave the resistance. Yuuri isn’t sure he can join him in assured destruction. So they strike a deal to meet occasionally. The story follows Yuuri’s decision that, even if he doesn’t believe in the resistance, he believes in his love for Viktor — and that’s enough. Or, Yuuri defeats both the resistance and an oppressive government for love.
