1st month of book club!
Yes, we’ve already been here for a whole month and, even though the queue is still running, here are some interesting stats for yall:
- The total amount of fics we read was 67!! SIXTY SEVEN WHAT.
- A total of 800K words.
- We read short (700 words) and long (102K words) fics.
- Mostly Viktuuri, but 7 different pairings.
- Our most read genre was humor!

You know what the best part of Ice Adolescence is gonna be?
The fact that seeing Yuuri cleaning the absolute fuck up on the junior circuit might finally put paid to people who still, in the year of our lord two thousand and eighteen, somehow keep insisting that Katsuki Yuuri is a mediocre skater, or somehow only became good once Victor came to Hasetsu.
real talk could u imagine seeing victor and yuuri picking up each other’s little mannerisms?? yuuri subconsciously tilting his head and putting a finger on his lips when he’s thinking or bunching his hair in his fist when he’s frustrated??? victor looking down and stretching his shirt when he wants to feign innocence or embarrassment or learning how to do the “Slight Yet Strong Nod of Determination”???? cOULD U IMAGINE
