• I cannot believe this fic, it’s so good, Sara tries so hard and Mila is always there for her *sobs* poor useless lesbian Mila.

Mila, a master mechanimator, spends her days designing and building magical clockwork automatons for discerning customers. Sara, the best alchemetalsmith in the city, is Mila’s good friend and occasional collaborator. When Mila takes Victor’s commission for a gold clockwork poodle, she knows just where to turn for the materials… and assistance in raising enough energy for the animation.
For all her dreaming, though, she doesn’t truly expect her arrangement with Sara to lead to more.
• I didn’t know I needed this AU but OH BOY the worldbuilding is A++, they wear waistcoats and have fantastic sex while helping Viktuuri get together. Fun, hot, sweet!

1960s AU/College AU, Rated T, 5K
There are a few things which Sara Crispino remembers about Orientation Week. The first is that, despite the best and most serious efforts of the nuns, quite a lot of off-site drinking, dancing and general disreputability is involved. Instead of individuals, she remembers crowds and atmospheres.

• An interesting AU, very well researched. They’re so gentle and soft, and their developing relationship is divine!

• Social media fic! the way the events unfold is great and the story feels very real, with crazy fans but crazier pop stars!
Diner AU, Rated T, 4K
A local magazine features Mila’s as the best breakfast spot in town one year after it opens. The opposite page is devoted to a pie shop Mila has heard of, but never been to. Easy as Pie gets a paragraph of text and three photographs. One shot is a slice of blueberry pie, another is of hands kneading dough. The last one is of a woman with long, dark hair and olive-toned skin holding an armful of large blue ribbons. Sara Crispino, the caption reads, owner and baker at Easy as Pie holds all six of her National Pie Competition blue ribbons.
Mila drives over the same day she sees the article, as soon as the breakfast rush ends.
• Sweet as the pie, with the cutest ending ever. Some good humor, some great romance!

Mila works at Lilia Baranovskaya’s bar, serving drinks and flirting with the customers.
Sara works for Yakov Feltsman’s construction company, and she and her crew are regulars at Baranovskaya’s.
The two of them have been pining after each other for long enough that their friends are starting to get sick of it.
Sara’s determined. No more pining.
