The YOI Fanfiction Book Club is hosted within
CuttleMeFish’s personal writer server, thanks to @shemakesmeforget’s (Chel) encyclopedic
knowledge of YOI fanfic. The idea was born out of a desire to just read
together, enjoy awesome fanfiction, and love on the incredible free content
bestowed upon us by this fandom. Since then, more people have joined on the
experience! It’s been lots of fun and we’re happy to have more people jump on
board!More detailed information can be found over on
our FAQ.Logistics: The book club has an 18+ section for works M+ only, and a regular
section for works T and below. The 18+ section is only available to members
that are 18+ – just like it reads on the can. Anyone is able to suggest a
story to read over in the respective voting channels. Majority wins, so if –
for example – five people are logged in and ready to participate and a story wins
three votes, it will get added to the book club channel for discussion. There
are additional channels available for members to discuss stories that didn’t get
chosen. Stories are of all lengths and genres. Most stories have had victuuri/viktuuri
as the primary pairing. Per the regulations, everyone must accept to be civil
and cordial to all stories. Our primary goal is to ensure all the stories

reading! 😀 PLEASE NOTE THAT WE’RE NOT A FIC REC BLOG. We are, technically, recommending all these fics, but we’re not able to recommend theme or genre specific fics or help find fics. These are just the stories
the book club voted to collectively read, with our ridiculous, just for fun
ratings and overuse of trophies. Pretty much everyone gets a trophy (or a

YOI FanFic Book Club Info
Hi fam! I’ve received some questions about Book Club (and there’s still some in my inbox)! So, I figured I’d go ahead and make a single post about it now that it seems to actually be a thing? That way you know what it is and I can go back to reblogging Viktuuri! Information below! 😀
1. I have a server! (That I’ve ignored a lot.) Within it, the amazing Chel ( @shemakesmeforget) has been super awesome to come discuss some amazing fics and come up with the fab idea of a book club (so credit really goes to her). And we have a great group with amazing taste giving us the best fic choices available. I love it. So it’s not exactly just a book club server, but we have a book club within a server!
2. There’s two channels. One for fics Rated T and below and ones for fics M+ to ensure people of different ages can discuss and participate safely, so if that was a concern, please know we have that and some guidelines available to help us ensure everyone can have fun. Everyone’s been awesome so far!
3. This is a fun and respectful place. Please do not come with the assumption or intention to drag or throw salt on anyone’s stories. We’re having a blast being positive, making jokes, and telling awkward life stories and reccing fics (some popular, some unknown, all great). We have ridiculous rating systems that are not AT ALL serious. ❤
4. Everyone can suggest stories. We were at first going through a list, but it was so much more fun for people to suggest things and just vote and read. Bring your fave fics!
5. We’re small. Please don’t come expecting a big server because we’re a small, supportive little group and things move slow – except around fics. We talk about fics a lot. ❤
